Port Bolivar, Texas, is an unincorporated town placed at a prevent of the Bolivar Peninsula in Galveston County, Texas. As of 1990, Port Bolivar had the people of 1,200. A town is page to the historic Bolivar Lighthouse, which once guided ships typing Galveston Bay.
Ferry service is provided by the Texas Department of Transportation between Port Bolivar and Galveston.
There exists 1 school, Crenshaw Simple & Middle School, that is in the area. These are operated by Galveston Independent School District, and Port Bolivar students attend Ball High School in Galveston for high school.
